Accounting Services Staff

We have a new opportunity for a Full Time Accounting Professional as part of our growing Accounting Services Department which provides bookkeeping assistance to various clients and industries.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Associates Degree in Accounting or Business from an accredited institution.
  • Experience with QuickBooks or other Accounting software is helpful.
  • General knowledge of accounting concepts, and financial systems.
  • Ability to quickly learn and adapt from client to client.
  • Must be detail orientated, good communications skills and organized.

Tax Manager

We are seeking applicants for an experienced level position with an emphasis in tax practice at the Endicott office of Dannible & McKee, LLP.  As an experienced member of our team you will work closely with partners, staff and clients, while being responsible for planning, supervising, reviewing and completing client engagements.  This offers excellent opportunities for leadership and career advancement.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Develop, build and manage client relationships.
  • Prepare and review individual, corporate, exempt org and other tax returns.
  • Lead tax engagements in a supervisory role with tax staff under the guidance of tax managers and / or partners.
  • Complete tax research and special projects using various research platforms.
  • Participate in reviewed financial statement engagements.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting.
  • Certified Public Accountant in NYS.
  • Seven + years of tax related experience.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Motivated for continued professional and individual growth.
  • Ability to provide mentoring and leadership to staff.
  • Desire to become a partner.

Hours:  40 hours per week with flexible hours during summer
(Ability to work additional hours during busy season)

Audit Intern

Dannible & McKee, LLP is seeking applicants for intern positions in the audit department. As an intern on the audit team you will assist in completing audits, reviews and compilations with a primary focus on providing superior service to our clients. Our goal is to provide you with the resources to grow, expand and develop as an audit professional.
Hours: Flexible
Location: Syracuse, NY

Job Responsibilities:

  • Develop and expand technical knowledge while working under the supervision of experienced professionals
  • Assist engagement team on audits, reviews and compilations in all areas of the financial statements
  • Special projects in service areas such as forensic accounting, valuations and employee benefit plans

Minimum Requirements:

  • Pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in accounting with 150 credit hours needed to qualify for the CPA exam
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Motivated for continued professional and individual growth

Tax Intern

Dannible & McKee, LLP is seeking applicants for an intern level position in the tax department. As a member of the tax team, you will be assisting in the preparation of tax services to clients with a primary focus on gaining providing superior service to our clients while gaining exposure to a variety of tax issues. Our goal is to provide you with the resources to grow, expand and develop as a tax professional.  Based on your experience and future career goals, the internship could lead to a full-time position.
