Richard J. Maxwell

Richard J. Maxwell, CPA/ABV, CVA, CFF, CDA is a tax partner with the Firm and has more than thirteen years of experience in taxation and planning for individuals and closely-held companies. Rich is responsible for overseeing tax services to a variety of the Firm’s clientele with a focus on manufacturing, construction and professional service entities.

Along with his concentration on corporate taxation and planning, Rich is extensively involved in the Firm’s business valuation and litigation support practice. He has conducted numerous business valuation studies for clients in a variety of industries in addition to performing ownership transition and related consulting services. He serves as a consultant to Architectural / Engineering (A/E) firms on business valuation and ownership transition issues and teaches a national course on business valuation and ownership transition for design firms.

Rich received his undergraduate degree from Le Moyne College and is a certified public accountant in New York State and Pennsylvania. Rich is also actively involved in the community as he currently serves as a Board Member and Treasurer of Adapt CNY, Inc. and The Preservation Association of Central New York, Inc.
