A Message on COVID-19 From Dannible & McKee’s Managing Partner, Mike Reilly
Dear Friends and Clients,
As the coronavirus (COVID-19) situation continues to evolve, be assured that the health and well-being of our employees, clients, colleagues and their families are of utmost importance to us. We are closely monitoring the news and CDC directives and adjusting our policies based upon facts as they arise.
We have taken proactive measures to preserve the public health and safety of our employees while continuing to provide the highest standard of service for our clients. We have communicated with our employees about common-sense hygiene practices to limit the spread of illness-carrying germs and encourage anyone who is not feeling well or has family members who are ill or are at high-risk, to work remotely. Out of an abundance of caution, we have also shared additional guidelines pertaining to limiting travel over the next couple of months.
If an outbreak results in closures of any of our offices, rest assured that we have a business continuity plan in place that will enable us to provide you with uninterrupted service. As part of our tech-driven culture, we have full capability to support our professionals working remotely efficiently, in the event of a quarantine or other business interruption. In light of Governor Cuomo’s Executive Order, more than 50% of our personnel are already working remotely.
All our offices, Syracuse, Binghamton and Albany, are open and our professionals are accessible by phone or email to meet client needs. We have communicated to all our personnel to switch all in-person meetings and onsite client work arrangements to virtual meetings, phone calls and remote work arrangements. For our individual tax clients, we request that you either send in or email (via our secure email link) your tax information vs. an in-person meeting. Or you can drop off your tax information to our office.
As part of our unwavering commitment to our clients over the last 42 years, we will remain steadfast to providing the highest quality of service throughout this challenging time.
