Lyon, CPA, as its sixth team member to be named to the Central New York Business Journal’s 40 Under Forty honoree list. Lyon, recently promoted to tax partner, joins the distinguished ranks of young professionals recognized for their outstanding contributions to their profession and community.
The 40 Under Forty recognition is awarded annually to individuals making a significant impact on the future of Central New York. Honorees are selected based on nominations reviewed and scored by a panel of judges, considering both professional achievements and community involvement.
“Sam is a highly accomplished professional who has proven to be an excellent leader and a respected mentor,” said Nicholas Shires, CPA, partner-in-charge of tax services at Dannible & McKee. “This recognition is a testament to his commitment and dedication to the firm and the broader community.”

He possesses extensive experience in all areas of taxation, with a strong emphasis on individual and corporate tax planning, business valuations, ownership transition and employee benefits. Lyon manages tax engagements for clients across various industries, particularly architecture and engineering, professional services and multi-state corporations.
