Michael J. Reilly
Michael J. Reilly, CPA/ABV, CVA, CFF, CDA is the partner-in-charge of our Firm’s tax department. Since beginning his career in 1979, Mike has developed experience in all areas of income and estate taxation, with a strong emphasis in individual and corporate tax planning, business valuations and employee benefits. Mike concentrates in various industry specialties, including manufacturing, construction, automotive dealerships and professional service organizations. He is also the partner-in-charge of the Firm’s health care practice group.
Along with his focus on corporate tax planning, Mike has developed an expertise in implementing qualified and non-qualified employee benefit plans. He co-authored a course on business valuation, ownership transition and the creative use of employee benefit plans and ESOP’s. Mike has written numerous articles, has been quoted in various trade publications and has lectured nationally on business valuation, ownership transition, corporate tax planning, and other various tax related topics. He is a member of the teaching faculty for the NYSSCPA’s Foundation for Accounting Education and was Chairman of the NYSSCPA’s 1994 and 1995 Annual Tax Conferences.
Mike received his undergraduate degree Magna Cum Laude from LeMoyne College. He is a Certified Public Accountant in the state of New York, Pennsylvania and Vermont. A summary of Mike’s credentials and professional achievements are, as follows:
