Abby K. Sweers Earns Her Certified Public Accountant (CPA) License

Dannible & McKee, LLP is pleased to announce that Abby K. Sweers has successfully passed the CPA exam and completed the requirements to earn a license as a Certified Public Accountant in New York State.

Abby concurrently earned her Bachelor of Science degree in accounting and Master of Business Administration degree at Le Moyne College, graduating in 2018. She started with Dannible & McKee in 2017 as an intern in the firm’s tax department and joined as a full-time professional in January 2019. Abby is originally from Rochester, New York, and currently resides in Dewitt, New York.

The CPA license is the accounting profession’s highest standard of competence, a symbol of achievement and assurance of quality.  To earn the prestige associated with the CPA license, one is required to demonstrate knowledge and competence by meeting high educational standards, passing the CPA exam and completing a specific amount of public accounting experience.
