Dannible & McKee, LLP, a certified public accounting and consulting firm with offices in Syracuse, Albany and Binghamton, New York, is pleased to announce that Nicholas Coleman and Julia Musengo have successfully passed the CPA exam and completed the requirements to earn a license as a Certified Public Accountant in New York State.

Nicholas Coleman, CPA

Coleman joined the firm in 2021 as an audit staff accountant after working as an intern in the audit department for three years prior. Coleman graduated cum laude from Le Moyne College with a Bachelor of Science in accounting and Master of Science in information systems in 2020. He is responsible for performing audit, review and compilation procedures, proofing of client financial statements and reports in preparation for issuance and assisting with various fraud engagements. Coleman is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and serves as vice president of the Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA) student chapter at Le Moyne College. Coleman resides in Clay, New York.

Julia Musengo, CPA

Musengo joined the firm in 2021 as a tax staff accountant after interning for the firm in 2020. She is responsible for preparing tax returns for individuals and closely held companies and assists with tax planning and business valuations. Musengo graduated summa cum laude from Grove City College with a Bachelor of Science in accounting with a concentration in forensic accounting in 2021. She is an active member of Christ Community Church of the Nazarene and resides in Camillus, New York.

The CPA license is the accounting profession’s highest standard of competence, a symbol of achievement and assurance of quality. To earn the prestige associated with the CPA license, one is required to demonstrate knowledge and competence by meeting high educational standards, passing the CPA exam, and completing a specific amount of public accounting experience.
