Alyssa Jensen Earns Her Certified Public Bookkeeper (CPB) License
Dannible & McKee, LLP, a leading certified public accounting and consulting firm, is pleased to announce that Alyssa Z. Jensen has successfully passed the Certified Public Bookkeeper (CPB) exam and fulfilled all requirements to earn her CPB license.
Alyssa is a senior accountant within the firm’s Accounting & Advisory Services Department. She joined the firm in 2020 and is responsible for executing monthly bank and investment reconciliations, tracking fixed assets, preparing GAAP-compliant monthly financial statements, preparing budgets, tracking inventory and assisting clients with QuickBooks questions and procedures. Alyssa’s expertise includes a specialization in serving nonprofit organizations.
Achieving the CPB license demonstrates Alyssa’s exceptional mastery of bookkeeping knowledge, skills, and ethical standards. Recognized nationwide and issued by the National Association of Certified Public Bookkeepers (NACPB), this license is considered a significant credential in the industry. To earn the CPB license, candidates must meet the academic and professional experience requirements, pass a series of exams, and meet the academic standard in bookkeeping, accounting, payroll and QuickBooks. Alyssa is also certified as a QuickBooks Online ProAdvisor, further showcasing her commitment to excellence in the field.
She graduated from the State University of New York at Plattsburgh in 2014, earning bachelor’s degrees in accounting and broadcast journalism. She resides in Syracuse, New York, and works in Dannible & McKee’s Syracuse office.
