
Christine N. Petrone, CPB, Named to Central New York Business Journal’s 40 Under Forty
Dannible & McKee, LLP, a leading certified public accounting and consulting firm, proudly announces that Christine N. Petrone, CPB, accounting & advisory services director, has been named to the Central New York Business Journal’s 40 Under Forty Class of 2025. Petrone is the firm’s seventh team member to receive this prestigious honor, which recognizes young professionals for their outstanding achievements in their profession and commitment to community service.
The 40 Under Forty Awards are presented annually to individuals making a significant impact on the future of Central New York. Honorees are selected through a competitive nomination and judging process that evaluates both professional excellence and civic involvement.

Rowe, CPA, CFE, audit partner at Dannible & McKee. “She not only excels in her role as director of the firm’s accounting and advisory services department, but she also inspires those around her with her unwavering dedication, integrity and innovation.”
Petrone began her career with the firm in 2016 and has advanced quickly, earning promotions to senior in 2020, supervisor in 2022 and director in 2024. She manages multiple client accounts and specializes in accounts receivable, accounts payable, reconciliations, asset tracking and depreciation. She also prepares budgets, GAAP financial statements, recommends accounting controls and oversees a department of nine professionals. In addition, she is a QuickBooks ProAdvisor and a Certified Public Bookkeeper (CPB), expanding her expertise and supporting the firm in serving clients.
Beyond her professional work, Petrone is an active community leader. She serves on the board of directors for Sunshine Horses, Inc, is actively involved with the American Red Cross and currently serves as the president of the Accounting & Financial Women’s Alliance (AFWA) CNY Chapter. She graduated from Cazenovia College in 2013 with a Bachelor of Professional Studies in business management.
