Dannible & McKee Announces Two New Partners
SYRACUSE, NY – Dannible & McKee, LLP, a certified public accounting and consulting firm, is pleased to announce the promotions of Samuel M. Lyon, CPA, to tax partner in our Syracuse, New York office and Robert C. Reeves, CPA, CFE, to audit partner in our Schenectady, New York office, effective July 1, 2024.

They both bring a specific set of skills that are invaluable to their clients and their respective departments.”
Sam began his career with the firm as an intern in 2013. He is now the first partner to start in the Dannible & McKee internship program and work his way up into the partnership. Sam has extensive experience in all areas of taxation, with a strong emphasis on individual and corporate tax planning, business valuations, ownership transition and employee benefits. He is responsible for overseeing tax engagements for a variety of the firm’s clientele, focusing on architecture and engineering, professional services and multi-state corporations.
Sam is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants (NYSSCPA) and is a certified public accountant in New York. He graduated from Le Moyne College with a bachelor’s degree in accounting, cum laude, in 2014 and his master’s degree in business administration in 2015. Lyon also serves on the Board of Directors at LAUNCH.
Bob joined the firm in 2017 after working in accounting and finance for a private company. He has more than eight years of experience providing audit, review, compilation and consulting services to a variety of clients with a focus in the manufacturing, construction and architectural and engineering industries. Additionally, he offers auditing services for a variety of employee benefit plans and specializes in providing forensic accounting and fraud detection and prevention consulting services to clients.
Bob is a certified public accountant in the state of New York and is also a certified fraud examiner. He is a member of AICPA, NYSSCPA and the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners (ACFE). Bob earned his Bachelor of Business Administration in accounting, magna cum laude, from Niagara University in 2014 and his Master of Business Administration from the State University of New York at Oswego in 2016.
