Dannible & McKee, LLP Announces Merger with Sbarra & Company CPA’s, P.C.

Syracuse-based accounting firm, Dannible & McKee, LLP, has announced that they have completed a merger with Sbarra & Company CPA’s, P.C., a CPA and consulting firm located in Endicott, New York. The merger took effect January 1, 2018, and Sbarra & Company CPA’s, P.C. is officially operating under the name Dannible & McKee, LLP. This merger is part of Dannible & McKee’s strategic plan to strengthen its position throughout the Southern Tier.

Sbarra & Company CPA’s has been providing accounting, tax and consulting services to individuals, businesses and nonprofits since 1993. Their expertise ranges from basic tax and accounting services to more in-depth services such as audits, reviews, compilations, financial and tax planning. The merger will add five employees, including one partner, to Dannible & McKee.

Thomas K. Sbarra, CPA, has been admitted to the Dannible & McKee partnership. Sbarra has over 35 years of experience in both private and public practice. He received his Master of Science in accounting from the State University of New York at Binghamton and a Bachelor of Science in economics from Clarkson University. Sbarra is a general, tax and not-for-profit division member of the American Institute of CPAs and a member of the New York State Society of CPAs. He is active in the community and serves on the board of various community and nonprofit organizations.
