Dannible & McKee, LLP Announces the Promotion of Eight Professionals

Dannible & McKee, LLP, a Certified Public Accounting and Consulting firm with offices in Syracuse, Auburn, Binghamton and Schenectady, New York, is pleased to announce the promotion of eight professional staff members.

Lori Beirman director of audit quality at Dannible & McKee, LLP

Lori A. Beirman has been promoted to director of audit quality. Beirman joined Dannible & McKee’s affiliate company, DM Systems, Inc., in 1999, where she installed accounting software and offered training and bookkeeping services to clients. In 2001, she transitioned to work in the firm’s audit department, and in 2007, she began performing quality control procedures while specializing in data analytics and fraud. Lori is a member of the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners (ACFE) Upstate NY Chapter, the Accounting and Financial Women’s Alliance, and the New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants (NYSSCPAs). She earned her associate degree in business administration from Onondaga Community College in 1995 and a Bachelor of Science in accounting from Le Moyne College in 1999. She serves on the Board of Directors and is the treasurer for the Preservation Association of Central New York and also serves on the Board of Directors for the Volunteers Lawyer Project of CNY, Inc. Lori resides in Lafayette, New York, and works in the Syracuse office.

Kaitlyn L. Mariano, CPA, senior tax manager at Dannible & McKee, LLP

Kaitlyn L. Mariano, CPA, has been promoted to senior tax manager. She joined the firm in 2012 and oversees tax engagements for various clientele, with a focus on contractors, manufacturers, multi-state taxation and high-net-worth individuals. She is a Certified Public Accountant in New York State and is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants (NYSSCPA). She serves as treasurer for County North Children’s Center, Inc. and Eye Got This, Inc. and volunteers for the local chapter of GiGi’s Playhouse in Syracuse. She graduated from Le Moyne College in 2012 with a Bachelor of Science in accounting and a Master of Business Administration. Kaitlyn resides in Liverpool, New York, and is based in the Syracuse office.

Robert C. Reeves, CPA, CFE Audit Manager

Robert C. Reeves, CPA, CFE, has been promoted to senior audit manager. Prior to joining the firm in 2017, he worked as a senior accountant for a private commercial real estate company. Bob, as his coworkers call him, provides auditing and consulting services to a variety of clients, with a focus on the construction and manufacturing industries. He also specializes in employee benefit plan audits and forensic accounting services and is the manager in charge of recruiting and client services in the capital region. Bob earned his bachelor’s degree in accounting, magna cum laude, from Niagara University in 2014 and a Master of Business Administration from the State University of New York at Oswego in 2016. He is a Certified Public Accountant in New York and is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), the New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants (NYSSCPA) and the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners (ACFE). He resides in Ballston Spa, New York, and is based in the Schenectady office.

Timothy L. Corapi, CPA, has been promoted to audit manager. Tim joined the firm as an intern in 2017 and became a full-time audit staff accountant in 2019. He plans and manages multiple engagement teams through the completion of audits, reviews, compilations, and other attest services. He also assists with recruiting audit interns for the firm’s internship program. Tim graduated from Le Moyne College, earning his Bachelor of Science in accounting in 2018 and a Master of Business Administration in 2019. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants (NYSSCPA). Corapi resides in Syracuse, New York, and is based in the Syracuse office.

Ryan R. Delao, CPA, has been promoted to audit manager. Ryan joined the firm in 2020 as a full-time staff accountant and was promoted to audit senior in 2021. He supervises engagement teams through the completion of audits, reviews, compilations and employee benefit plan audits. Ryan graduated from Le Moyne College, earning his Bachelor of Science in accounting and Master of Science in information systems in 2019. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants (NYSSCPA). He resides in Syracuse, New York, and works in the Syracuse office.

Erin Heindl

Erin E. Heindl has been promoted to audit senior. She joined the firm in 2021 as an audit staff accountant and performs audits, reviews, compilations and employee benefit plan audits for various clients. She earned her Bachelor of Science in accounting from the State University of New York Empire State in 2021. Erin resides in Liverpool, New York, and is based out of the Syracuse office.

Sam Walsh

Samuel T. Walsh has been promoted to tax senior. He joined the firm as an intern in 2018 and became a full-time tax staff accountant in 2020. Sam is responsible for preparing individual, trust, partnership, S corporation and C corporation tax returns. He also conducts tax closings and year-end tax planning for clients. He graduated from Le Moyne College with a Bachelor of Science in accounting in 2019 and a Master of Science in taxation, cum laude, in 2020. He resides in Syracuse, New York, and is based in the Syracuse office.

Alyssa Jensen

Alyssa Z. Jensen has been promoted to accounting & advisory services senior. She joined the firm in 2020 and is responsible for executing monthly bank and investment reconciliations, tracking fixed assets, preparing monthly financial statements according to GAAP, inventory tracking and assisting clients with QuickBooks questions and procedures. She graduated from the State University of New York at Plattsburgh with a Bachelor of Science in accounting and a Bachelor of Arts in broadcast journalism in 2014, and she is also a QuickBooks Online ProAdvisor. She resides in Syracuse, New York, and works in the Syracuse office.
