Dannible & Mckee, LLP Announces the Promotion of Seven Professional Staff

Dannible & McKee, LLP, a Certified Public Accounting and Consulting firm with offices in Syracuse, Albany and Binghamton, New York, is pleased to announce the promotion of seven professional staff members for their outstanding efforts during the last year.

Kaitlyn Hensler Headshot

Kaitlyn A. Hensler, CPA/CFF, CFE, has been promoted to senior audit manager. Hensler joined the firm in 2013 and in her current role she is responsible for the planning and management of multiple engagement teams through the performance of audits, reviews, and compilations for the firm’s clients. Her areas of focus are construction, manufacturing, employee benefit plans, forensic accounting, and fraud detection and prevention services.

Hensler graduated from the State University of New York at Oneonta, where she earned a Bachelor of Science in professional accounting. She is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), the New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants (NYSSCPA) and the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners (ACFE). She also serves as the Treasurer & Finance Committee Chair for the Syracuse Parks Conservancy, as a board member for the Financial Planning Committee at Hiscock Legal Aid Society, and on the NextGen Committee at the Syracuse Chapter of the New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants (NYSSCPA). Hensler resides in Onondaga Hill.

Robert Reeves

Robert Reeves, CPA, has been promoted to audit manager. Reeves joined the firm in 2017 and is responsible for providing audits, reviews and compilations in a variety of different industries. He also works with clients to help identify and resolve accounting and audit issues. Prior to joining the firm, Reeves worked as a senior accountant for a private commercial real estate company.  He earned his Master of Business Administration from the State University of New York at Oswego and a bachelor’s degree in accounting, magna cum laude, from Niagara University.  Reeves is a member of the AICPA and the NYSSCPA, and he resides in Baldwinsville.

Joshua Jasewicz Headshot

Joshua T. Jasewicz, CPA, has been promoted to tax senior. Jasewicz joined the firm’s tax department in 2019 after interning for two years. He has experience in income tax planning and compliance services to individuals and closely held companies. He specializes in the architecture and engineering (A/E), professional services and manufacturing industries, including multi-state corporations and high net worth individuals. Jasewicz is also involved in the firm’s business valuation and succession planning services. He earned his Master of Business Administration with a concentration in accounting in 2019, and a Bachelor of Science in accounting in 2017, from the State University of New York at Oswego. Jasewicz is a member of the AICPA and the NYSSCPA, and he currently resides in Jordan.

Nicholas Jim

Nicholas M. Jim, CPA, has been promoted to tax senior. Jim joined the firm in 2019 and generally specializes with Architecture and Engineering and Manufacturing clients. He is a member of the Recruiting Committee, Manufacturing Committee and Architecture & Engineering Committee. Jim developed instructions and process for CCH Axcess Tax Autoflow software implementation. He is an active member of AICPA and NYSSCPA. Jim is a graduate of the State University of New York at Binghamton, where he earned a master’s degree and bachelor’s degree in accounting. Jim resides in Liverpool.

Nicholas Kersey

Nicholas Kersey has been promoted to audit senior. Kersey joined the firm in 2019 and is responsible for the preparation of audits, reviews and compilations for a variety of clients, with a focus in the automotive and construction industries. He earned his Master of Business Administration with a concentration in accounting in 2020, and a Bachelor of Science in accounting in 2019 from the State University of New York at Oswego. Kersey resides in Syracuse.

Preston Krieger

Preston M. Krieger has been promoted to tax senior. Krieger joined the firm as a full-time accountant in 2017. He was an intern with the firm for a year before joining the firm, also splitting his time at the United States Attorney’s Office. He also previously served as a financial analyst for the Richard C. Breeden Fund Services. Krieger is responsible for the preparation of individual, corporate and partnership returns, and he specializes in automotive, manufacturing and rental entities.  He also manages the review of interns and first-year staff. Krieger is a graduate of the State University of New York at Oswego and holds a master’s degree and bachelor’s degree in accounting. He currently resides in Syracuse.

Allison Semmel

Allison Semmel, CPA, has been promoted to audit senior. Semmel joined the firm’s audit department in July 2018 after interning with the firm the year prior. She is responsible for leading teams in the completion of financial audits, federal and state compliance audits and employee benefit plan audits. Semmel is a member of the AICPA and NYSSCPA, and she served as the treasurer for the Community Library of DeWitt & Jamesville in 2019. She is a graduate of the State University of New York at Geneseo, where she earned a master’s degree in 2018 and a bachelor’s degree in 2017. Semmel resides in Liverpool.
