Kaitlyn H. Axenfeld, CPA/CFF, CFE, of Dannible & McKee, LLP, a certified public accounting and consulting firm, has been accepted into the Leadership Greater Syracuse class of 2024. She is the firm’s third member acquired for the program.

Kaitlyn is an audit partner at the firm and has over 11 years of experience providing audit, review, compilation and consulting services to a wide variety of clients with a focus on construction, architecture and engineering, and manufacturing industries, as well as audits of Employee Benefit Plans. She specializes in forensic accounting and consulting services, including litigation support to law firms and privately held companies in fraud detection, damage calculations and prevention matters. She also oversees recruiting and the internship program for the audit department.

Kaitlyn is the treasurer and finance committee chair for the Syracuse Parks Conservancy, board member and member of the financial planning committee for the Hiscock Legal Aid Society and a member of the Next Gen Committee, The Syracuse Chapter of the NYSSCPA. She graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in professional accounting from the State University of New York at Oneonta in 2013.

The mission of Leadership Greater Syracuse is to inspire current and future leaders to make a difference in their community. The flagship program provides a year-long experience that immerses participants in the challenges and achievements of the community while building leadership skills. The program aims to provide life-long skills, knowledge, confidence and connections that can be applied at home, at work and in the community.
