Kaitlyn Hensler, CPA, CFE, Earns the Certified in Financial Forensics Designation

Dannible & McKee, LLP, a certified public accounting and consulting firm with offices in Syracuse, Albany and Binghamton, New York, is proud to announce that Kaitlyn Hensler, CPA, CFE, earned the designation of Certified in Financial Forensics (CFF) from the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA).

The credential, Certified in Financial Forensics (CFF), combines specialized forensic accounting expertise with the core knowledge and skills that make CPAs among the most trusted business advisors. The CFF encompasses fundamental and specialized forensic accounting skills that CPA practitioners apply in a variety of service areas, including bankruptcy and insolvency; computer forensics; economic damages; family law; fraud investigations; litigation support; stakeholder disputes and valuations. Requirements for this certification include significant professional experience in the area of financial forensics, completion of at least 75 hours of life-long learning and educational activities in the area of financial forensics and passing the CFF examination.

Kaitlyn is an audit manager and has over six years of experience providing auditing, accounting and consulting services to a wide variety of businesses. She concentrates in the industries of manufacturing and construction and specializes in providing forensic accounting and fraud detection and preventative engagements for the firm.

Kaitlyn holds a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting from State University of New York at Oneonta and is a Certified Public Accountant in the State of New York and a Certified Fraud Examiner.  She is also a member of the New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants (NYSSCPA), the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners (ACFE).
